Are you looking for an entry-level table that doesn’t break the bank? Check out the new Huawei MediaPad T8.
The Huawei MediaPad T8 is one of the three budget hardware that the company released in Romania. It came out alongside the Y6p and Y5p smartphones.
This device is for those who want to own a Huawei tablet, but can’t afford its flagship MatePad Pro. The MediaPad T8 has a compact 8-inch HD+ display. It has a relatively thick top and bottom bezels, but the sides are much thinner to help achieve the 80% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, it comes with a MediaTek MTK8768 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It should handle basic apps fine, but don’t expect mind-blowing gaming experience out of this.
The processor is bundled with 2GB of RAM, with an option between 16GB and 32GB of expandable storage. It then runs on Android 10-based EMUI 10 with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). The battery is rated at 5,100mAh.
Huawei Romania will be selling the MediaPad T8 this month for a price of RON500 (~Php5,700). Its release details in the Philippines and other markets shall be announced soon.
