Itel has launched a new tablet that is immediately available in the Philippines, the new Itel Pad 1.
Coming from the sister company of INFINIX and TECNO Mobile, the Itel Pad 1 is a new budget-friendly tablet featuring a UNISOC octa-core processor, with decent 2GB/4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of expandable storage, and runs on an efficient Android 12 Go Edition.

Made to be a portable working machine, the device comes with 4G LTE that lets you make calls, texts, and of course, connect to the internet even without WiFi. The said 10.1-inch display only has an HD+ resolution.
It also comes with a relatively small 6,000mAh battery that’s charged by a slightly slow 10W adapter. On the upside, it does come with a USB Type-C port.

At 8 megapixels, the front camera is unusually sharper than the 5-megapixel sensor on the back. This makes sense since you’d be using it more for video calls than taking snaps.
Also onboard are stereo speakers, FM radio, and for the mobile version, GPS. All this hardware is crammed inside an all-metal body.

The new Itel Pad 1 is now listed at Lazada Philippines with an SRP Php4,999 and discounted price of Php4,899. That’s for the 2GB/64GB/LTE version. No word yet if the 4GB/128GB is also coming.
