Lenovo announced a slew of new smartphones at an event held in Beijing. There’s the flagship Lenovo Z5, a slightly more affordable Lenovo K5 Note 2018, and their latest budget offering — the Lenovo A5.

The Lenovo A5 offers a bunch of humble specs to appeal to emerging markets. To make it stand out from the entry-level smartphone crowd, the company equipped it with a huge battery.

This handset packs a juicy 4,000mAh battery — which is more than enough to power its mediocre hardware for more than a day. The Lenovo A5 only has a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor and a 5.45-inch HD+ screen, so it’s not power hungry at all.

The chipset is partnered with 3GB of RAM, and an option between 16GB and 32GB of expandable storage.

Lenovo A5 also comes with a decent pair of cameras. There’s the 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies, while a 13-megapixel primary camera sits on the back. It also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box layered with Lenovo’s ZUI 3.9 interface.
