After Lenovo’s recent announcement of Lenovo K860, a quad-core powered phablet handset, comes another one through Lenovo A660. However, this smartphone is somehow similar to Sony Xperia Go because it is also waterproof and dustproof. Needless to say, another treat for the travelers and people who loves adventures so that they can carry around a sturdy android phone.
According to ZOL, the Lenovo A660 will have a 4-inch WVGA Gorilla Glass display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera, VGA front-facing camera, and a 1500mAh battery. The specs are notably not too impressive and it doesn’t have anything fancy but that’s expected considering that it is mainly designed to be a durable phone. Also, it is still incomplete as of now.
The Lenovo A660 will only be 10.55m thin so it looks interesting for a build to resist type of device. As shown in the photos above, the android phone will ship in multiple colors. The A660 will be carrying the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
The price and availability of the Lenovo A660 is still unknown but it is expected to hit China as its first destination. International availability is still not disclosed.
