The Motorola Edge 2025 just made its debut in the United States and Canada and, hopefully, soon in more markets like the Philippines.
Motorola’s latest is said to have a 7.7-inch “Super HD” pOLED display. That’s just a unique branding for its standard 2712 x 1220 resolution, but with Pantone Validated Color. The Motorola Edge 2025 also has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support with 4500-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
As with most 2025 phones, AI is a big deal here. It even has a dedicated AI Key, a shortcut to Moto AI features. One of them is called Next Move, which analyzes what’s on your screen and gives you shortcuts to apps and other features that you might use next.
Catch Me Up uses AI to summarize missed notifications; Pay Attention transcribes, records, and summarizes meetings or conversations; while Remember This then memorizes details from a photo or notes that you can later recall when needed.
Powering the Edge 2025 is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Motorola continues to equip its phones with IP68/69 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certifications for durability.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C main sensor, joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide with macro capabilities, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens.
Another 50-megapixel camera is on the front for selfies.
The Motorola Edge 2025 is now listed in the United States for USD549.99 (~Php30,600) and will be available on June 5. It will be widely available in Canada on a later date.
