The first ThinkPhone gets a follow-up with the new Motorola ThinkPhone 25. Like Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops, this one was created with enterprise users in mind.
Design-wise, the Motorola ThinkPhone 25 looks identical to its predecessor, but with an upgraded specs list that’s very similar to the Edge 50 Neo.
That said, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a relatively small 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The small battery may have something to do with the 6.36-inch display, which is smaller than the usual 6.5-inch panel that most phones have. On the upside, it uses a pOLED panel with a 1220p resolution, has a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
On the back, we have a carbon fiber design with the ThinkPhone branding on the bottom right, and the triple cameras on the top left: a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with optical image stabilization, 13-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
Made for business users, the phone has deep integration with Lenovo PCs and Motorola tablets. It features auto sync with said devices, lets you share keyboard and mouse, has centralized notifications, and gives you the option to use the phone’s cameras as a webcam.
B2B customers are also offered Moto Device Manager, which allows IT departments to do remote device management.
Motorola also promises 5 years of Android OS upgrades and security patches. Plus, the phone offers extra malware and phishing detection, as well as better WiFi security.
The Motorola ThinkPhone 25 has a price of EUR499 (~Php31,000) and will be available in November.
