MyPhone Agua Iceberg

In case you missed, one of the unofficial MyPhone fan pages leaked an image of what is expected to be MyPhone’s next Android offering. The MyPhone Premium Android phablet is looking really premium too, sporting a silver metallic finish on the back. However, not much else was revealed since the back was the only part of the device that we got to see from that previous leak.

Well, it looks like MyPhone Android Fans got their hands on another image of the device as their admin seems to be one of the beta testers for the device. This new leak shows us the front of the new MyPhone phablet in a white finish, which sort of contrasts against the silver back. We also now have a better idea of what the UI will look like, and it sort of looks like TouchWiz if you ask me.

In addition to that leaked image, MyPhone themselves teased 2 key specs on their Facebook page: a 5.7 inch screen and a 1.2GHz quad core processor. Those specs alone are enough to make this upcoming phone a contender, and if the rumors are true that it’s based on the same OEM as the BLU Life View, it should be very formidable indeed.

  1. Hahaha, I just got an A919i as a gift as well! But it’s alright, I wont be missing the extra features on the camera, and MyPhone might gimp the internal storage to 4GB as well. The A919i is also slightly more compact…. Still a really nice phone to look forward to though.

    2. You know you’re actually a social climber when you despise your own country’s map because it makes the product look “cheap”.

It’s a goddamn smartphone. Get a case if if bothers you that much.

Or yes… don’t buy it in the first place. Because it dilutes the brand for those of us who buy local phones for practical reasons and not because we want to be elitists.

I’m proud to have that map. get your lazy finger out of your arse bish!

        1. Uhhh pretty much every local smartphone and tablet is made abroad. Nothing you can do about that. The only parts the local brands can change is the software and marketing.

          – MyPhone has a Pinoy app in a mini CD with every phone, the coding and content for this is of course sourced locally.

          – Cherry Mobile markets their latest Fusion Air tablet as “a tablet for every Juan”… okay so maybe this particular ad being pro-Pinoy is skin deep. But among the local brands they do seem to have the most stalls and kiosks in the country which gives jobs to hundreds of part/full timers.

          – Starmobile employs internet personalities like Donnalyn Bartolome to promote their flagship Knight smartphone.

The people doing the software and marketing definitely are Filipino. That map represents their share of the work. If you can’t be proud of that then you’re not appreciating the talents of your fellow Filipino.

          1. Damn right Paul. They’re idiots compared to the person who thought of putting that map behind their phones. Besides, it’s one way of saying THIS IS A MYPHONE to those who are awestruck by the phone.

Wow.

        1. Well if you don’t like that map in terms of aesthetics then that’s fine.

However when OP posted that the Philippine map on back makes the phone “cheap”… that is the very definition of being a social climber.
