After years since its major comeback, Nokia finally joined IFA 2019 and announced two new killer midrange smartphones — the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2.
Let’s start with the most interesting one, the Nokia 7.2. The first thing you’d notice here is the design on the back. A rounded glass houses three cameras and an LED flash. The camera placement pays an homage to the Lumia series that we last saw back in 2014.
The main camera houses a 48-megapixel sensor, while the other two are for ultra-wide shots (8-megapixel) and depth-sensing (5-megapixel). All of which are using the trusty ZEISS lens.
Like the Nokia 6.2, this one sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with HDR 10 support. While under the hood, there’s the reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and a 3,500mAh battery.

Next stop, we have the Nokia 6.2, which feels like the non-Plus model of the former. It has an identical design and display, but with some compromises in some areas to make it more affordable.
The Nokia 6.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, instead of Snapdragon 660. Also, the primary camera was toned down to a 16-megapixel from a 48-megapixel one.

Both devices will come with an over-engineered plastic body for extra durability, and runs on a clean Android 9 Pie OS under the Android One program. Nokia and HMD Global are also committing them to instant Android 10 update once it becomes available.
