Nokia has introduced a new entry-level smartphone, the Nokia C30, and like a lot of midrange phones, it features big numbers in other departments than the processor.

The Nokia C30 has an enormous 6.82-inch screen. But being a budget phone, it settles for an HD+ pixel resolution. It also has a large 6,000mAh battery but with only a 10W charger. Longevity shouldn’t be a big deal, but a full charge may take hours.

Under the hood, there’s the UNISOC SC9863A chipset. An octa-core processor consists of Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. For the best possible performance, it runs on Android 11 Go Edition.

The cameras are not too interesting either, but enough to justify the price. There’s a waterdrop notch for the 5-megapixel front-facing camera. While on the back, there’s a circular glass for the 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Below it is the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Select markets can get the Nokia C30 for a price of EUR99 (around Php5,900).
