OnePlus 12R is finally arriving in the Philippines.
As the more affordable model in the 12 series, OnePlus 12R is equipped with last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor instead of the newer Gen 3. And like the OnePlus 11, the 12R comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The OnePlus 12R boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO4 AMOLED screen with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. Protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2, it can also go up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Despite not having Hasselblad-powered cameras, OnePlus 12R is still pretty capable with its 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, a 16-megapixel sensor is placed on the front.
Probably the only thing the 12R has over the regular 12 is its bigger 5,500mAh battery capacity. It also comes with 100W SUPERVOOC to top it up from 1 to 100% in as fast as 26minutes. Unfortunately, it lacks wireless charging support.
No word yet on the official release date of OnePlus 12R in the Philippines, but it’s most likely coming before the month ends.
