OPPO has introduced two new smartphones in the Chinese market, the OPPO A1s and the OPPO A1i. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and boast a substantial 5,000mAh battery capacity.
The OPPO A1s features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz. It achieves a peak brightness level of 680 nits. In terms of camera, the A1s includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor equipped with optical image stabilization, complemented by a 2-megapixel depth lens. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and offers a variety of connectivity options including dual 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, and multiple global navigation systems. Its dimensions are 165.6mm x 76.0mm x 7.99mm, and it weighs 193 grams.

The OPPO A1i shares several features with its sibling, including the chipset and the high refresh rate on its 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen. However, this model only offers up to 256GB of onboard storage. The A1i simplifies the camera setup to a single 13-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Though the battery size remains the same as the A1s, the A1i supports a slower 10W wired charging.
The more expensive OPPO A1s comes with a price tag of CNY 1,199 (~Php9,400) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the higher storage version with 512GB is priced at CNY 1,399 (~Php11,000). It’s available in three different color choices: Night Sea Black, Dusk Mountain Purple, and a color translated as Tianshuibi from Chinese.

In contrast, the OPPO A1i, which is slightly more affordable, starts at CNY 1,099 (~Php8,600) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model, and the 12GB RAM version with the same amount of storage costs CNY 1,199 (~Php9,400). This model offers two colors: Phantom Purple and Night Black.
