The new OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 was just announced, and it will arrive before the actual game does.
Developer CD Projekt Red initially set a release date for April 16, which was moved to September 17, then November 19, and now, December 10. With that, it appears that the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition will arrive earlier than the actual game, as sales will start on November 11.
The device will initially arrive in China, where it costs CNY3,999 (around Php28,900) and is now available for pre-order. It’s Php300, more expensive than the standard model.
Speaking of which, what makes it different from the vanilla version? First, there’s the aggressive design change. As you can see, the camera glass is now much larger, occupying a major area on the top. Adjacent to the quad cameras is the 2077 logo with what appears to be a special barcode below it.
We have another chunk of glass at the bottom that has the Cyberpunk logo printed on it. The middle has a sandstone texture with the OnePlus logo. A couple of themes and textures are also available in the software.
For the complete appeal, the Cyberpunk 2077 edition comes with a special case, with the same yellow and gray accent and cutout for the two glass on the back. We also have the Cyberpunk 2077 box, while the charger and wall brick looks standard, but with another Cyberpunk logo printed on the latter. A couple of special emblems are also included in the box.
Other than the design and the box, everything is the same. It still has a 6.55-inch 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 865 processor, 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main shooter with OIS.
No word yet if the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition will arrive in the Philippines. In the meantime, you can check out the standard One Plus 8T, which is available in the country for Php29,990.
