OnePlus has a new high-end phone targeted at games, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra.
Powering the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, which has a 12-core Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU, and has 1x 4.21GHz C1 Ultra, 3x 3.5GHz C1 Premium, and 4x 2.7GHz C1-Pro.
That powerful chip is paired with a 6.78-inch 2.8K OLED display, which has 10-bit colors, 3,600-nit peak brightness, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
OnePlus claims that you can play six games in full 165fps smoothness, which includes League of Legends: Wild Rift, Clash of Clans, Subway Surfers, and Soul Knight. OnePlus also said you can run Delta Force at 165fps for three straight hours with no performance drops.
Along with the new phone, OnePlus has also introduced a new gaming controller that you can purchase separately.
It has four back buttons and two shoulder triggers. Plus, it adds extra antennas, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C charging, and a magnetic slot on the back for a cooling fan, which is also sold separately.
It is paired with a large dual-cell 8,600mAh battery, which OnePlus says can last for up to 7.4 hours of 165fps gaming or 13.6 hours of navigation. It can retain at least 80% of its battery health even after 5 years of regular use.
That battery is paired with an ultra-fast 120W charging, which can provide a full charge for 49 minutes.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
It then has an IP66/68/69K dust and water resistance rating, symmetrical stereo speakers, and an X-axis linear motor.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra has a starting price of CNY3,799 (~Php34,200) for the 12GB/256GB and goes up to CNY5,399 (~Php48,700) for the top-tier 16GB/1TB model. It’s now in China, with no word for international release.
