OnePlus Nord 2 5G price in the Philippines

The follow-up to OnePlus’s successful non-flagship phone is here. Meet the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G.

It may not be the brand’s flagship phone, but the OnePlus Nord 2 5G sure packs a couple of high-end features. Again, the company is bringing up the term “flagship killer.”

This device packs a lot of specs you’d expect from a packed 2021 smartphone. There’s the vibrant and smooth AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a decent 4,500mAh battery, and an ultra-fast 65W Warp Charge technology that promises a full 100% charge in just half an hour.

The Nord 2 5G is also one of the first OnePlus phones to use a MediaTek processor. Some people might be disappointed by this news, but enthusiasts may be glad to hear that it’s the Dimensity 1200 AI CPU — a chipset that brings 5G connectivity and performance close to its flagship counterparts.

OnePlus also didn’t spare the camera department. It has a triple-camera setup on the back, with the main one sporting a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensor, which is actually the same one found on the flagship OnePlus 9 Pro.

Flagship-level features like optical image stabilization (OIS) and Digital Overlap HDR (DOL-HDR) are also here.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G has an official price of Php21,990 for the 8GB/128GB and Php25,990 for the 12GB/256GB. Both variants will be initially available in the Philippines in Blue Haze and Gray Sierra colors, respectively.

It will be available for pre-order on Digital Walker stores starting July 23 at 2 PM until the 25th at 5 PM. Confirmed pre-order units will come with a free OnePlus Buds Z valued at Php2,590.
