OPPO’s latest entry-level smartphone, the OPPO A18, has made its way to the Philippines.
OPPO is highlighting the 36-month fluency of the OPPO A18, which basically means that it can provide the same amount of performance after three years.

It then has a standard 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a high 90Hz refresh rate, with 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB coverage. OPPO also boasts its 300% Ultra-Volume Mode, an upgrade to the 200% volume boost that other phones have.
Another standard feature is the 5,000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 dust and water resistance, and a design that’s also similar to other OPPO phones we’ve already seen before.

It is then powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, with 128GB of expandable storage, and only 4GB of RAM with an additional 4GB via virtual RAM expansion. A 5-megapixel camera is on the front, and a dual rear camera setup in the back led by an 8-megapixel sensor.
Finally, it ships with Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1. Since OPPO promised a 36-month fluency, we’re hopeful it will also receive the same amount of software updates.

The OPPO A18 has a price of Php5,999 in the Philippines and is now available in both online and offline stores nationwide.
