The OPPO A5 series continues to grow with the release of the new OPPO A5.
Joining the OPPO A5 Pro and A5 Pro 5G is the OPPO A5, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor that you can pair with up to a whopping 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
A 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen is on the front with a high 120Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner underneath.
There’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top of the display. On the back, we got a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash.
One of its best features is the humongous 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
OPPO also highlights its durability features with an IP69-rated dust and water resistance and reinforced frame for a better chance of surviving drops.
The OPPO A5 is available in China at a price of CNY1,299 (~Php10,300) for the 8GB/128GB, CNY1,499 (~Php11,900) for the 8GB/256GB, CNY1,799 (~Php14,200) for the 12GB/256GB, and CNY1,999 (~Php15,800) for the 12GB/512GB. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
