OPPO Philippines has finally unveiled the latest Selfie Expert smartphone.

The OPPO F1s is the follow-up to the successful selfie-centric F1 smartphone released last year, and it has some great improvements. First is the increased screen size to 5.5 inches from the predecessor’s 5-inches. The F1s retains the same screen resolution of 1280×720, so it’s less pixel-packed at only 267 pixels-per-inch. It’s now also powered by a MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a larger 32GB of internal storage.

The design remains the same, similar to the OPPO F1 Plus. The F1s also includes a fingerprint scanner in front, with response of as quick as 0.22 seconds. Unfortunately, there’s no VOOC fast charging here, so it’ll take some time to fill up the battery.

What I like most about the OPPO F1s is the rigid and beautifully crafted body. The phone obviously took some inspiration from the iPhone, but it’s actually quite good. Plus, it’s running on Android. I hope that it’ll get updated to Android Marshmallow soon as Lollipop is already outdated.
