Beside the A57, OPPO also unveiled a new color variant of their flagship — the OPPO F3 Black Edition.
This new matte black variant is on the complete other side of the spectrum on the currently available colors. The OPPO F3 was first offered in bright, flashy Gold and Pink colors. The addition of a stealthy and subtle black variant is a big welcome. Plus, it just looks sleek and elegant.
But other than its black tint, it’s pretty much the same old OPPO F3 on the inside. It has the large and sharp 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, a decent MediaTek octa-core processor, adequate 4GB of RAM, and an ultra-fast fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO F3 Black Edition also brags the main highlight feature — the dual-camera selfie camera in front. There’s the 16-megapixel sensor for selfies, and an additional 8-megapixel one for group pictures a.k.a “groufies”.

As expected, it is also running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Since OPPO was able to make a color variant update, I’m hoping they can come up with a software update soon.
