After entering the tablet market last year, OPPO has now announced a successor with the OPPO Pad 2.
Launched alongside the Find X6 and X6 Pro flagship phones, the new OPPO Pad 2 boasts a large 11.61-inch IPS screen with a 2800 x 2000 pixel resolution, with 500-nits peak brightness, 144Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color.
The device is built using an aluminum material, with the 13-megapixel rear camera placed in the center — just like the OnePlus Pad. There’s also an 8-megapixel sensor on the front.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor, which you can pair with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The battery has a large 9,150mAh capacity and is charged using the 67W SuperVOOC adapter.
It then runs on Android 13-based ColorOS for Pad 13 and has support for OPPO Pencil 2 and a smart touch keyboard.
The OPPO Pad 2 comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB variants for a price of CNY2,999 (~Php23,700), CNY3,399 (~Php26,800), and CNY3,999 (~Php31,600), respectively. It will be available in China on March 24 while release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
