The OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G finally makes its way to the Philippines through Globe’s GPlan postpaid plan.

For a quick recap, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G was first introduced way back in July carrying a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max octa-core processor. The unit we’re getting here has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. OPPO also included its MariSilicon X NPU for more capable image processing.

Speaking of which, what we have here is a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro, and a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

There’s also a pretty packed display. We have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is hidden underneath the screen.

It doesn’t have the biggest battery at 4,500mAh, but charging should be extra speedy thanks to its 80W SuperVOOC adapter.

Software is then handled by the Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1. It may be updated to the newer Android 13 OS soon.

The OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G 12GB/256GB is available on Globe GPlan 1499 with a cashout price of Php18,000 with a 24-month lock-in period. Get it with a free OPPO Enco Air 2 earbuds and OMNI adaptor. The said plan then comes with 10GB of data, unlimited all network calls and texts, 3GB GoWiFi access, and KonsultaMD individual subscription.
