The OPPO Reno12 F series is now official, joining as the cheapest member of the new Reno12 series.
Oddly, OPPO went with a pretty different design for the OPPO Reno12 F. It’s far from how the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro look, and even from other OPPO phones we’ve seen recently. The closest we can think of is the Find X7 series.
It has a large, circular camera island that holds four pieces of glass in a cross pattern. There’s the 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide glass, 2-megapixel macro, and an LED flash.
What’s really cool here is the Cosmos Ring, which is a large halo light that’s almost the size of the bezel of the camera island. It has RGB colors, that you should be able to customize.
It will also have a lot of the AI features of its bigger brothers. There’s the AI Eraser, AI Smart Image Matting, and AI Studio. Other non-photography AI features include AI Writer, AI Speak, and AI Recording Summary.
Enabling these AI features is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a 5,000mAh battery, 45W USB-C charging, IP64-rated dust and water protection, and of course, Android 14-based ColorOS 14.
The OPPO Reno12 F was spotted on the brand’s Thai website with the price and availability yet to be announced.
