vivo intros a new high-end tablet in China called the vivo Pad 3. It features a large and smooth display, a powerful processor, and a few other interesting specs.
The vivo Pad 3 came out about three months after the Pro model was announced. This new model went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 while the Pad 3 Pro used a Dimensity 9300 from MediaTek.
We also have a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a tall 7:5 aspect ratio that’s great for multitasking, HDR10 support, and P3 color gaming. It also comes with a bunch of eye safety certifications. Audio is provided by the six-speaker setup.
It also has a beefy 10,000mAh battery with a speedy 44W USB-C charger.
The cameras don’t feel as impressive as the rest of the hardware. What we have here are 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls and an 8-megapixel main camera on the back.
vivo has also developed the vivo Pencil 2s stylus and a Smart Touch Keyboard for the Pad 3, which are sold separately.
The vivo Pad 3 is available in 8GB/128GB configuration for a price of CNY2,499 (~Php20,100), 8GB/256GB for CNY2,799 (~Php22,600), 12GB/256GB for CNY3,099 (~Php24,900), and 12GB/512GB for CNY3,399 (~Php27,400). They will be available starting July 5 in China. No word yet if it will be sold outside the motherland.
