Xiaomi has been actively growing its POCO lineup this year, introducing several new models to the market. At the beginning of 2024, the company unveiled the POCO M6 Pro 4G, POCO X6, and POCO X6 Pro.
Continuing this trend, the POCO C61 was introduced to consumers in India. Despite appearing to be a completely new product, the POCO C61 is essentially the Redmi A3 under a different moniker. The device features a MediaTek Helio G36 processor and offers two configurations: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also comes equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery and a 90 Hz 6.71-inch HD+ display.

In terms of its camera capabilities, the POCO C61 includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera, an 8-megapixel main camera, and a 0.8-megapixel secondary sensor. It’s also designed to be durable, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and provides Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The smartphone runs on Android 14 straight out of the box.
As of now, Xiaomi has not announced plans to release the POCO C61 on the global market. In India, pricing for the device begins at INR 7,499, which is approximately Php5,000. It is available in three colors: Ethereal Blue, Diamond Dust Black, and Mystical Green.
