The realme 13 Pro series has arrived and just like its predecessors, it boasts many photography features that now, as expected, are powered by AI features.
Both the realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro Plus come with realme‘s Hyperimage+ AI photography architecture that consists of both on-device AI image algorithms and cloud-based AI image editing features like Group Photo Enhancement, Audio Zoom, and Smart Removal — things we’ve already seen in a couple of midrange phones today.
For the camera hardware, the realme 13 Pro Plus is the first to have the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 sensor with a 24mm equivalent and optical image stabilization. There’s also a 50-megapixel LYT-600 for the 3x telephoto lens that has a 73mm equivalent and OIS. Finally, an 8-megapixel sensor takes ultra-wide shots with a 16mm lens.
As expected, the realme 13 Pro has a toned-down 50-megapixel LYT-600 for the main camera. The telephoto lens is gone, but it still has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. Both phones get the same selfie cameras.
Not just the front and ultra-wide cameras are the same. In fact, pretty much everything else is. Both models are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
They also have 6.7-inch AMOLED screens with a high 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Stereo speakers with Hi-Res certification handle the audio.
Both models also have a large 5,200mAh battery. Oh, and we found another difference: the Pro Plus has a fast 80W charging while the Pro cuts that in half at 45W.
Finally, the software is handled by the Android 14-based realme UI 5.0.
The realme 13 Pro Plus has a price of INR32,999 (~Php23,000), INR34,999 (~Php24,400), and INR36,999 (~Php25,800) for the 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB models, respectively.
Meanwhile, the realme 13 Pro has a price of INR26,999 (~Php18,800) for the 8GB/128GB, INR28,999 (~Php20,200) for the 12GB/256GB, and INR31,999 (~Php22,300) for the 12GB/512GB. It’s now up for pre-order in India and will be available starting August 6. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
