Realme adds another device in its growing tablet line-up with the introduction of the Pad X.
The Realme Pad X is an 11-incher, just a tad bit larger than Realme’s first tablet with its 10.4-inch screen. What makes this special is that the display is pressure-sensitive, so it can accommodate a stylus for jotting down notes or drawing, albeit it’s sold separately.
It is relatively sharp, too, with its 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. The wide 5:3 aspect ratio is close to the shape of an actual paper or notebook, which really compliments the stylus if ever you decide to get one.
On the top of its uniform bezels you can spot the 8-megapixel camera, which has a 105-degree wide-angle lens that makes it great for group video calls or presentations. A 13-megapixel camera is on the back for casual snaps.
The back has a similar design to Realme‘s previous tablet. Only this time, it comes in a special fluorescent green color with an aggressive tile design that looks like a crossword puzzle. It also has multiple layers for an illuminating look.
Black and Gray color options are still available if you want a cleaner look. For a laptop-like experience, you can also get the dedicated cover keyboard.
Under the hood, the realme Pad X is powered by the midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, 128GB of expandable storage, and an option between 4GB and 6GB of RAM.
Keeping the lights on is a generous 8,340mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The device is also rigged with four speakers on each corner for better stereo separation and volume. It then ships with the latest Android 12-based Relame UI 3.0, which has been retooled to work for tablets.

The Realme Pad X has a price of CNY1,299 (around Php17,100) and CNY1,599 (around Php12,400) for the 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, respectively. It will be available in China starting May 31 while release details in countries like the Philippines are yet to be announced.
