Xiaomi refreshes the Redmi 10 in India by releasing the Redmi 10 Power.
The Redmi 10 Power is essentially the same as the Indian version of the Redmi 10 — don’t get it confused with the Redmi 10 global version that we have here in the Philippines.
One of the most striking differences over the non-Power variant is the looks. This one uses Redmi’s current design language with large camera islands that also hold the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the branding. Quite similar to the Redmi 10C.
The new device also boasts fancy leather textures on the back, which we suspect could still be plastic. It is available in two contrasting colors: Sporty Orange and Power Black.
Unlike what we’re used to, the name “Power” was not used to refer to big batteries. Instead, it’s for the extra performance you’d be getting with its 8GB of RAM. The standard model only tops out at 6GB.
Albeit, the battery is still really large. It inherits the vanilla Redmi 10’s 6,000mAh module, as well as the 18W charging support. Although, buyers would only get a 10W charger, which is really disappointing considering the battery it needs to juice up.
Everything else looks untouched. There’s the roomy 6.7-inch IPS screen, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 5-megapixel selfie snapper, and a dense 50-megapixel main camera.

The Redmi 10 Power will be available in India for INR14,999. It could be exclusive to the said country, but it may be rebranded for other markets.
