Samsung subtly brought the Galaxy A02s in the Philippines — its latest entry-level smartphone.
For a quick recap, the Samsung Galaxy A02s has a Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, partnered with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It’s essentially the same as the recently-announced Galaxy M02s.
We then have a 6.5-inch HD+ screen on the front, with a waterdrop notch for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, there are triple rear cameras led by a 13-megapixel main shooter.
Being a budget phone, the Galaxy A02s tries to compensate for the overwhelming hardware by having an enormous 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
As spotted on Samsung store operator JAN BC Mobile on Facebook, the Samsung Galaxy A02s has a price of Php6,990 in the Philippines. It should be available in all Samsung physical and online stores by now.
