Samsung Philippines subtly brought the Galaxy M53 5G to the country.
Initially launched abroad back in April, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is one of the most powerful smartphones to ever come out of the M series.
This one is powered by a 5G-equipped MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, partnered with an 8GB of RAM and a generous 256GB expandable storage.
Another key highlight is the ultra-sharp 108-megapixel main camera. It sits on a square island on the back together with the 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
There’s also a similarly pixel-dense 32-megapixel snapper on the front, peeking from a punch-hole cutout on top of its enormous 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus screen.
The screen also has a fast 120Hz refresh rate for the full visual experience. Sadly, it appears to lack a stereo speaker setup. Dolby Atmos support is also onboard.
Despite its OLED screen, it only has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of a fancy in-display one.
To juice it up, the Galaxy M53 5G ships with a 25W charger. Not the fastest, but we’re not surprised considering that it’s a Samsung device. You’d be using that to fill up the 5,000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has an SRP of Php29,990 but is currently Php3,000 off on Samsung PH’s official website for Php26,990. It is also available in the brand’s official stores in Lazada and Shopee.
