A new rumor reveals that specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and that it will come in both 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants. Of course, that is if the sources are to be believed. But should we really be shocked? No, I guess we all saw this coming.

According to a report by a Greek site Tech Blog, they said that they have “exclusive information” regarding the upcoming tablets and that Samsung will be unveiling two variants of the third generation of the Galaxy Tab series.

The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will obviously have a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage which we expect to support microSD cards. Both tablets will also come with a 3-megapixel main camera and a 1.3-megapixel shooter in front.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 sports the same specifications but with the exception of a bigger 2GB of RAM. As expected, both Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 variant will come with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS installed and a 3G and LTE versions will also be available. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will have a bigger 7000mAh battery while the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will carry a 4500mAh.

Looking at the rumored specs, it seems like Samsung is heavily targeting the 8-inch category with the addition of the Galaxy Tab 3 and we assume that it’ll just complement the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.  But, from the looks of it, it’ll not hit the cheapness of the Google Nexus 7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was priced competitively though, so we could expect this to be on par with its predecessor.

The same site also said that these tablets will be announced in the next few days (or weeks) and it will begin selling in either June or July. Samsung has announced several android phones lately and it’s likely that we would see another unveiling coming up.
