Samsung just announced two new tablets recently.  There’s the Galaxy Tab S4 10.5, which is built for professional use. While we also have here the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, a more basic and family-friendly addition to Samsung’s tablet line-up.

Unlike the new Tab S4, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is meant for the entire family to enjoy. This tablet has a Multi-User feature, including a Kids Mode, so anyone in your home can use it via different user profiles.

With the Kids Mode, parents can control the usage time and the contents available for their kids. It also comes with a special interface that can be both educational and fun for the children.

And as a bonus, Samsung pre-loaded the Galaxy Tab A with eight child-friendly apps like Toca Hair Salon 3 and BRIO World Railway.

Since it’s mostly centered for entertainment, the new Galaxy Tab A has a large 10.5-inch WUXGA screen, has four built-in speakers, and Dolby Atmos technology. There’s also a chunky 7,300mAh battery inside that charged via USB Type-C.

The device is also available in a 4G LTE model so you can take it anywhere without losing internet connection.

However, the chipset that Samsung used is slightly underwhelming. What we have here is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
