Alongside the new Galaxy Tab A 10.5, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab S4 10.5. This device is in the forefront of Samsung’s tablet offerings, thanks to its capable set of features and PC-like user experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 has a lot of things going with it. It’s touted to be a portable device centered for productivity. But with its extra novelties, the Tab S4 can also satisfy your entertainment needs.
Are you familiar with Samsung DeX? If you’re not, it is basically an accessory that turns a Samsung smartphone into acting like a desktop computer. It comes with a dock accessory that allows you to connect different peripherals (i.e. monitors, keyboards).
The smartphone’s screen will then turn off and a special interface will then be projected to the larger monitor, mimicking a desktop-like experience for increased productivity.
With the Galaxy Tab S4, that feature comes built-in. What’s more interesting is, you can have a dual monitor setup using an external one and the actual display that the tablet has. You just have to get a USB Type-C to an HDMI converter to connect it to a larger screen.
Speaking of the display, the new Galaxy Tab S4 has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a WQXGA resolution. It also has a four-speaker setup that’s been tuned by AKG, plus, Dolby Atmos technology for an overall entertainment experience.
And since it will be handling some serious tasks, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, with 4GB of RAM, and either a 64GB or 256GB of storage.
As per usual, the new Tab S will be bundled with an S-Pen. But if you really want to do a lot of work and typing on this thing, you can get the Book Cover keyboard that’s sold separately.
