Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S9 and S9 Plus with a much-needed display upgrade.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and S9 Plus now come with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, similar to what the Tab S9 Ultra has — a major upgrade over the LCD panel that its predecessors have.
With the vanilla Tab S9, you’re getting an 11-inch panel with an adaptive refresh rate, with the fingerprint scanner underneath, and a 12-megapixel selfie camera on top and a single 13-megapixel shooter on the back.
The Tab S9+ has a bigger 12.4-inch screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and the same camera setup but with the addition of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the back. The new Samsung Vision Booster is also here, which can improve colors and brightness.
Under the hood, both models get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, which can be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Of course, the Duo differs in battery capacity. The vanilla has an 8,400mAh capacity while the Plus model has a 10,900mAh. They share the same 45W fast charger, Android 13-based One UI 5.1 interface, and will ship with S Pen stylus.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 has a price of Php47,990 for the 8GB/128GB/WiFi model, Php54,990 for the 12GB/256GB/WiFi, Php56,990 for the 8GB/128GB/5G, and Php64,990 for the 12GB/256GB/5G.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus has a price of Php61,990 for the 12GB/256GB/WiFi model, Php69,990 for the 12GB/512GB/WiFi, Php70,990 for the 12GB/256GB/5G, and Php78,990 for the 12GB/512GB/5G.
