Smartphone technology really seems to have the fastest evolution in the last couple of years. These devices were ones in the backtrack of computers but now it seems that they will most likely compete head to head when it comes to new innovations in their respective fields. It is just recently unveiled that an Android phone containing a powerful quad-core processor will be released in the upcoming months and now this new touchscreen technology will follow that amazing feat.
Sony Mobile Communications, formerly known as Sony Ericsson, has just announced a new addition to the Sony Xperia™ Family, the Sony Xperia Sola. The Sola will come with the usual capacitive touchscreen but more. This new offering from the Sony features the new and first ever Floating Touch Interface which means that you can control your Android phone without even touching it. The The Floating Touch Technology lets you hover your device and amazingly browse the web with just placing your fingers a few millimeters atop the screen. This feature will constantly improve through software updates to further hone its full potential. Sony Xperia Solo will also ship with NFC enabled SmartTag.
What is SmartTags?
Sony Xperia Sola will also come with NFC SmartTag enabled bringing in the users comfort in using this device everyday with this feature. The SmartTag will let you launch a pre-configured profile you made depending to your needs. you can configure it with the apps and settings you need depending on your lifestyle and quickly activate it with just a simple touch. It will come pre-configured with a profile for living room and bedroom. The living room profile will turn on your Wi-Fi and other configured apps while the bedroom profile will switch on your alarm clock and put your phone in silent mode. The customization will allow you to set a maximum of 10 orders and will let you create and edit your profile to your preference. It also supports NFC pairing by just bringing two NFC capable phones closer together which means you can share and connect to other NFC-enabled smartphone hassle free. SmartTags will surely simplify your day but will still provide you a lot of customization.
