Starmobile UP Selfie with dual front cameras now official

Starmobile has announced its new budget selfie-centric smartphone — the Starmobile UP Selfie.

The local company has equipped the handset with a dual front camera system to keep up with the trends today. There are two 13-megapixel sensors with wide-angle capability to capture selfies and groufies with friends or loved ones.

Starmobile didn’t jump on the bandwagon of facial recognition security measures, as it keeps the old but reliable fingerprint sensor. There’s also a quad-core MediaTek chipset paired with an ample 3GB of RAM. In terms of looks, it pretty much any regular smartphone out there — nothing fancy.
