The company that’s been giving the market tons of amazing devices to choose from like the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and many more are bringing another to the table. The latest smartphone from Huawei is the Nova 2s, which is a successor to last year’s Nova and Nova Plus.
The Huawei Nova 2s is a mid-range phone that has a 6-inch Full HD+ bezel-less display with a 1080×2160 resolution and a pixel density of 402ppi. Just like other newly released Huawei smartphones, the Nova 2s follows the 18:9 aspect ratio trend.
Even with its fully packed display, Huawei managed to squeeze in the fingerprint scanner below its stunning display. Its body is made out of metal and glass, giving it a sleek and elegant look without sacrificing its durability.

The latest smartphone has four cameras, two for its primary camera and another two for the secondary camera. The rear camera brags a powerful 16-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and 20-megapixel Monochrome sensor with the same aperture and a 120-degree wide angle lens.
Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has a 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors (which comes with an LED flash) making it perfect for self-portrait shots.
The Huawei Nova 2s is powered by 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor. It comes with either a 4GB RAM/64GB storage or 6GB RAM/128 GB storage (both storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD) and the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. To make all this work, the phone uses a 3,340mAh battery that comes with Huawei’s very own Supercharge, powering the phone to a full battery within an hour, through its USB Type-C port.
Huawei Nova 2s comes in different colors like Gray, Black, Blue, Red, and Rose Gold. Its current market price is around $410 (~Php21,000) dollars for the 4GB RAM/64GB and $530 (~Php27,000) for the 6GB/128GB variant.
