TECNO Mobile finally brought the highly-anticipated POVA 5 in the Philippines. Like its predecessors, it boasts a couple of appealing numbers for a price of under Php10,000.
The TECNO POVA 5 Free Fire Edition comes with a special box with artwork based on the battle royale game. It comes with special stickers in the box, and wallpapers right within the phone.
But other than the special packaging and the wallpapers, the Free Fire Edition is essentially the same as the standard variants. All three colors — Amber Gold, Mecha Black, and Hurricane Blue — feature a unique and eye-catching mecha design.
Now, on to the features that make the POVA 5 interesting. First, it has a large 6,000mAh battery, which can easily last you for a day or two of light to moderate use. It can also be used as a power bank with its reverse charging feature. It ships with a 45W adapter for charging the device itself.
Second, it has an enormous 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS display with a high 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Helio G99 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
TECNO put a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, paired with a QVGA depth sensor. An 8-megapixel camera is on the front for selfies.
The best part is, the price. You can get the TECNO POVA 5 and all those specs and features for an SRP of Php8,999. As a special introductory offer, the device can be had for only Php6,899 from August 3 to 5.
