vivo just released the new vivo T2 5G and T2x 5G in India, which could also be referred to as their global variants since they differ from the Chinese models that came out almost a year ago.
First, we have the vivo T2 5G, which is powered by the trusty Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which can be equipped with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM with only a 128GB expandable storage option.
It then has a refreshing 6.38-inch display, which is a tad bit smaller than what others have. It uses an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 360 touch sampling, and 1,300-nits peak brightness. It also has a compact 4,500mAh battery that can go from 0% to 50% with its 44W charger.
A waterdrop notch is on top for the 16-megapixel selfie camera, while on the back there’s a 64-megapixel main shooter complete with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic stabilization (EIS). Sadly, it’s only joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The new vivo T2 5G has a price of INR18,999 (~Php12,800) for the 6GB/128GB variant and INR20,999 (~Php14,100) for the 8GB/128GB. They will be available in India come April 18.

If you want something cheaper, you can get the vivo T2x 5G, which the company says is its most affordable 5G phone in India. This one comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 CPU and has three RAM options: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB — all have the same 128GB of storage.
It then has a standard 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD screen at 60Hz, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 50-megapixel main on the back with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It may be cheaper, but it has a bigger 5,000mAh battery, albeit only with 18W charging.
The vivo T2x 5G has a price of INR12,999 (~Php8,700), INR13,999 (~Php9,400), and INR15,999 (~Php10,800) for the 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB, respectively. Sales start on April 21 in India, while release details for both models in the Philippines are yet to be known.
