ZTE Grand X View 2

The tablet PC scene has been uneventful the last couple of months. As smartphones get bigger and bigger, it looks like the mainstream market has lost their interest in this kind of devices.

However, companies like ASUS, Huawei, LG, and especially Apple are still producing tablets to have the option available. And now, here comes another alternative the ZTE Grand X View 2.

It’s been a while since this Chinese company has released a tablet. But still, that’s not enough reason for you to get excited with the ZTE Grand X View 2. This device might be bigger than most smartphones today, but it isn’t necessarily more powerful.

The X View 2 packs a Snapdragon 210 chip, a SoC that’s even inferior to most midrange smartphones. This system-on-a-chip houses a generic 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and a far less impressive 1GB of RAM. The 8GB of internal storage is also nothing but bad news.

In front, there’s the 8-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution. Definitely not the sharpest panel of all, especially when you consider the display size.

Fortunately, it runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It also has a decent 4620mAh battery, that’s actually quite decent for its low-res screen and average processor.
