IoT brand Cherry Philippines has a new product for tracking air quality: the new CHERRY Smart Air Quality Sensor.

Priced at Php4,999, the Cherry Smart Air Quality Sensor is a device designed to measure and monitor air quality in indoor settings. This gadget is controlled through the Cherry IoT Solutions mobile app that’s available for download on Google Play and the iOS App Store. Simple gestures or voice commands are available when using the app to control the device. The app also sends instant notifications when the device detects drops in air quality.

The device itself comes with a built-in digital screen with which the user can read real-time air quality data, including various air quality indicators such as particulate matter (PM2.5), total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), carbon dioxide (CO2), formaldehyde (HCHO). Temperature and humidity are measured and monitored as well.


As part of Cherry’s range of Internet of Things (IoT) devices aimed at turning regular homes into smart homes, the Cherry Smart Air Quality Sensor is particularly marketed towards parents who are concerned about maintaining a healthy living environment for their families. The invaluable data recorded from the device not only provides insights into the air quality but also offer reassurance about the cleanliness and breathability of the air inside homes.

Cherry also sells smart air purifiers, the most affordable of which is the SAP-600 model that’s listed at for Php7,000.
