Citing annual cumulative market share data from market research company TRS Research, TCL asserts that reaching this milestone reaffirms its status as a dominant player not only in the local market but also the global TV industry.
As an established player with 24 years of presence in the Philippines, TCL has also reached the top position in market share for its core business of TCL TVs, in terms of both value and volume. TCL reveals that data from TRS Research also shows the company leading the premium TV segment, notably in QLED TVs.
Considering its worldwide business, TCL managed to rank second in terms of TV shipments by brand from January to December 2023. Based on the Omdia’s quarterly tracker report on global TV sets, TCL accounted for 12.5-percent of the market by selling 25.26 million units.
