Pokemon Rumble Rush is a free-to-play game that’s coming to mobile devices very soon. Folks at Australia already got their hands on it before the rest of the world, though.

It’s based on the first Pokemon Rumble game that was released in 2009 on the Nintendo Wii Console. Rumble Rush takes the player to a world full of uncharted islands filled with Pokemon. Players can enjoy fast-paced gameplay with one hand.

To avoid repetition, the islands and seas explored during your adventures will change every two weeks — which means new Pokemon every two weeks. Make sure you collect all of the Pokemon you encounter as you might miss your chance as the Islands change every two weeks.

If you’re the first player to discover a new island, you’ll have a chance to name it. You can also head on to different islands that other players were able to explore in order to find rare Pokemons.

Players can upgrade the Pokemon of their choice. Once you clear a stage, players can receive an ore that will need to be refined in order to get Power Gears. This Power Gears can be used to make your Pokemon stronger. The same ore can also be refined into a summon gear that can call forth a Pokemon to use a powerful move.

There is also a Super Boss Rush “mode” where players can occasionally earn rewards. The player will need many different types of strong Pokemon in order to win each Super Boss Rush.
