The long-rumored Realme Buds Air Neo have been officially announced.

As the name suggests, the Realme Buds Air Neo is a cheaper alternative to the already affordable Realme Buds Air. To further cut down the SRP, the Neo model now lacks Environment Noise Cancellation, wireless charging, and a USB Type-C port.

On the upside, it comes with slightly bigger 13mm drivers, from the 12mm of the previous model. It’s still also IPX4 waterproof.

Realme also kept the R1 true wireless chip, which we really liked in our Realme Buds Air review. It connects instantly on your phone via Google Fast Pair and uses Bluetooth 5.0 to provide a seamless and battery-efficient connection to your smartphone.

Speaking of which, the Realme Buds Air Neo can carry 17-hours of playback with the battery case, while each bud can last for up to 3 hours of music listening at a time.

The Air Neo also has a Game Mode for a super low latency audio that’s great for watching videos and playing games.

Intelligent touch controls are also present. You can double-tap to answer call or play/pause music, triple tap to skip music, press and hold on one side to end a call or summon voice assistant, and press and hold both sides to enter super low latency mode. You can configure these controls via the Realme Link app.

The Realme Buds Air Neo has a price of only INR2,999 (~Php2,000) and will be available in India via FlipKart starting May 25 at 3 PM. You can get it in Pop White, Rock Red, and Punk Green. Take note that these prices are before taxes in PH.
