Xiaomi’s latest budget-friendly earbuds, the Redmi Buds 4 Active, is now in the Philippines for under Php1,000.

For a quick recap, the Redmi Buds 4 Active comes with 12mm dynamic drivers that Xiaomi claims provide “enhanced bass and heightened acoustics.”

It also comes with noise cancellation for calls, made possible by the high-sensitive microphones that remove ambient background noise to ensure your voice is picked up clearly.

For the battery, Xiaomi claims that each bud can last for 5 hours of continuous listening and a total of 28 hours with the charging case.

A battery LED indicator is at the bottom, sitting next to the USB-C port for charging. Xiaomi claims that a quick 10-minute charge can provide 110 minutes of music listening.

The buds then use the modern Bluetooth 5.3 standard to pair seamlessly with your Android or iOS phone with good power efficiency. Low-latency mode is also present.

It then has pressure-sensitive stems that let you tap twice the play-pause or answer calls, tap thrice for skip tracks or reject/end calls, and press and hold each bud at the same time to enable/disable low-latency mode. The Buds 4 Active also has Google Fast Pair support and IPX4 water resistance.

The Redmi Buds 4 Active is available at Xiaomi stores and kiosks in the Philippines for a price of Php799. It’s available in two colors: White and Black.
