Sony has unveiled a new sub-brand, featuring new monitors and headsets, that will target the video game industry as well as the esports community in general—INZONE.

Highlighting its prowess in providing a high-quality audio-visual technology experience, Sony claims that its products under the INZONE sub-label will give users an advantage through enhanced sound quality and spatial sound technology in comparison to the competition.

Per the Yukihiro Kitajima, Head of Game Business and Marketing, the venture comes as a result of the growing interest in the video gaming market, which is compounded by the rise in popularity of esports as well as the advancement of gaming entertainment systems.


On the topic of esports, Kitajima emphasizes the company’s significant contributions to the advancement of global esports leagues, pointing to its sponsorship for PGL DOTA2 Arlington Major 2022, and Valorant Champions Tour among others.

Evolution Championship Series General Manager Rick Thiher, meanwhile, expresses his belief that the side-by-side announcement of the worldwide release of Sony’s new gaming products and the tournament will increase the drive for the fighting game occasion.
