Xiaomi has launched the Mi Airdots 2 SE, which is the more affordable variant of the Airdots 2 model previously released in China.

As a newer iteration of the pair of wireless earphones, the device comes pre-built with the latest Bluetooth technology—Bluetooth 5.0—dual microphones for call noise-reduction, and smart voice controls.

Like previous models, the Airdots 2 SE has 14.2mm drivers, but is contrasted by having only an AAC codec and not LDHC.

One of the amazing capabilities of the Mi Airdots 2 SE is its ability to auto-connect to pre-paired devices that run on MIUI as soon as the earphone’s case is opened.

Left within the case, the Airdots 2 SE has an overall battery life of 20 hours and can subsequently run 5 hours on its standalone battery charge.

The Mi Airdots 2 SE will see its launch in China on May 19, 2020 and comes at a price tag of 169 yuan (~Php1,200).
