Now, the first batch has arrived, which includes 100 Gogoro Smartscooters, 400 smart batteries, and 7 GoStations.
How it works is quite simple. Once their battery runs out of juice, Smartscooter riders can go to GoStations and swap their depleted battery for a fully-charged one.

According to Vince Yamat, 917Ventures Managing Director, the project will help address “the need for a more sustainable transportation” and also “contribute to the overall goal of creating a greener future” for the country.
Globe said that the pilot testing of the scooters will happen in Metro Manila this first quarter by the logistics and last-mile delivery industry.
