Honda Philippines wrapped up its 2023 Makina Moto Show presence by launching the new Rebel 1100 in the country.
The moto show was also the stage for the local launch of the CL500 and the XL750 Transalp. Now, we got the Honda Rebel 1100, which looks essentially the same as the Rebel 500 that we already have in the country. Only this time, it’s powered by a 1,083cc SOHC liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a slipper/assist clutch or a DCT.

It has a Unicam engine design for optimal engine placement, a unique 270-degree phase crank, and a special camshaft timing, final-drive chain.
Just like the Gold Wings, it also has cruise control for long rides. It also has a throttle-by-wire system.
Of course, design is utmost importance for bikes like this. It features a blacked-out style in the engine pieces, fork, frame, and bodywork. Plus, a black-plated final-drive chain. Even the muffler is all-black.
For comfort, it has a low 27.5-inch seat height and is lightweight overall so you can ride and park with each.
For the rest of the specs, it has 43mm front fork suspensions, dual Showa shocks at the back, single front disc breaks with radial-mount four-piston caliper and ABS, single 256mm disc rear brake with ABS, 130/70-18 front tire, and 180/65-16 rear tire.
It then has a 59.8-inch wheelbase and 13.6L fuel capacity with a 4.1L reserve.
The new Honda Rebel 1100 is available in the Philippines for a price of Php650,000.
