Our specs comparison table above points out to a clear winner — the Redmi K30 Pro 5G.
The Samsung GalaxyA71 is currently one of their best midrange offerings, as we found out in our full review. However, the table above clearly shows that the Redmi K30 Pro 5G provides better specs and features.
It’s already obvious by the name itself. Xiaomi’s offering boasts 5G connectivity, while Samsung’s phone only has 4G. This was made possible by the Qualcomm X55 5G modem that the former has.
Qualcomm’s 5G modem came with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor — which is also one of the biggest leads of the Redmi K30 Pro 5G over the latter.
This is a flagship processor, which is rare to find in a premium midrange like this. The Snapdragon 730G on the Galaxy A71 is still one of the best midrange processors around, but not as good as the Snapdragon 865.
Besides 5G connectivity, the newer processor on the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro 5G allowed it to have the future-proof WiFi 6 standard, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band GPS.

Samsung phones are known for their great displays. This is why it’s a little disappointing that the Redmi device still took the win in this department.
It comes with a 100% DCI-P3 screen with HDR10+ support — despite having an identical 6.67-inch AMOLED screen from the Galaxy A71. The Redmi K30 Pro 5G even has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while the latter uses an inferior Gorilla Glas 3.
It’s a close fight in the camera department. The Galaxy A71 uses a sharper 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G might have a lower-resolution 20-megapixel sensor, but it does have unique novelties like 120fps slow-mo recording and a conversation-starter pop-up mechanism.
The two also have identical 64-megapixel main cameras, ultra-wide, depth sensor, and macro cameras. Although, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G overtakes the Galaxy A71 with its optical image stabilizer (OIS), 960fps slow-mo, and 4K video recording.
As a final nail to the coffin, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G also dominates the Samsung Galaxy A71 in the battery department. This thing comes with a 4,700mAh battery, bigger than the 4,500mAh of the A71. Plus, a 33W charging support, faster than the 25W of the competition.
Bottom line is: the Redmi K30 Pro 5G is better than the Samsung Galaxy A71 in almost all areas. In fact, just by its flagship Snapdragon 865 processor, this could possibly be the best smartphone you can get for the price.
Samsung now have an A71 5g model.
and there is mention of the operating system and software useabitity and ease of use.
hope to see a comparison of these 2 phone soon
thank you
