Let’s start with the Vivo V11i. Right of the bat, this handset clearly offers better design and ergonomics. The color gradient tone on the back panel looks eye-catching, the tiny display notch is less distracting, and it feels more lightweight and compact.

It also comes with a 25-megapixel front camera with tons of novelties that are fun to shoot with. That’s definitely more impressive than the 8-megapixel front-facing shooter of the Honor 8X.

Vivo used the reliable MediaTek Helio P60 processor on the V11i. Its performance is almost identical to the Kirin 710 chip of the Honor 8X, based on key benchmark apps. The latter does have GPU Turbo technology, however, since not a lot of apps supports it, the more powerful Mali-G72 MP3 on the V11i might serve you better.

Honor 8X sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ screen, which provides more room for playing games and watching movies. Also, the V11i’s 3,315mAh battery is surely nothing against the 3,750mAh battery of the 8X.

The V11i might have stolen the show with its pixel-packed front camera, but the 8X was able to undermine it with its slightly better 16-megapixel primary camera, as the V11i only has a 12-megapixel sensor.

In conclusion, if you want a more stylish, portable smartphone that can take good selfies, then the Vivo V11i is the one to get. But if you like to consume media and play games all day, the Honor 8X is definitely the smartphone for you.

The Vivo V11i is now available in Vivo stores, kiosks, and online through Vivo’s official shops in Lazada and Shopee for Php15,999. On the other hand, the Honor 8X is not available until October, but its price in China puts it at around ~Php11,500.
