The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite and Mi 10 Youth have their own strengths and weaknesses with each other. But as you just saw, it looks like the Mi 10 Youth got the key features right.
Its biggest win is in the processor department. The Mi 10 Youth boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which is obviously better than the Snapdragon 730G chipset of the Mi Note 10 Lite.

The Mi 10 Youth also gives you an option to expand its storage by having a microSD card slot. A major feature that’s missing on the Mi Note 10 Lite.
Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth boasts a bigger 6.57-inch display with a more responsive 180Hz sampling rate. Although, the Mi Note 10 Lite does come with a curved screen that looks more appealing in the eyes.

But if you don’t mind a small hit in performance, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite have a better set of cameras. Sure, having ludicrous zoom capabilities is cool and all, but would you actually use it after the novelty wears off?
The Mi Note 10 Lite might lack a telephoto lens, but it has a sharper 64-megapixel main sensor. This will let you take better photos than the boring 48-megapixel sensor of the Mi 10 Youth.

Xiaomi also managed to cram in a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the Mi Note 10 Lite. That’s two times more pixels than the 16-megapixel sensor on the Youth.

If you’re a heavy user, you’d appreciate the 5,260mAh battery on the Mi Note 10 Lite. That’s noticeably larger than the 4,160mAh battery of the competition.
There’s also the 30W faster charging, versus the 22.5W support on the 10 Youth. Although, we expect the charging times to be similar since the former does come with a bigger battery.

The bottom line is — if performance is a top priority, the more powerful processor and responsive screen on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth will better cater to your needs.
But if you can settle on an inferior but still fairly powerful processor, then going with the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite entitles you to a bigger battery, and better selfie and primary cameras.
